Visie

Carmela Bogman betrekt de mens bij de openbare ruimte. Haar projecten laveren tussen kunst en design en variëren van een gebiedsvisie voor een nieuwe N-weg in de provincie Overijssel tot een workshop boomhutten breien in Amsterdam Noord.
Alle projecten beginnen met een uitgebreid onderzoek in het betreffende gebied, gericht op de aanwezige landschappelijke elementen, de bewoners en de cultuurhistorie. In haar projecten werkt zij veel samen met professionals uit andere werkgebieden zoals de architectuur en de landschapsarchitectuur, waaronder Bureau Alle Hosper en v-eld.


Carmela Bogman places the emphasis on people in her designs for puclic space. Her projects are art as well as design and vary from a plan for a new road for the province of Overijssel, the Netherlands. To a workshop to knit your own treehouse in the nortern part of Amsterdam.
All projects start with a research in the plan area and are focused on the present landscape elements, the inhabitants and the cultural history. During her projecsts she works together with different professions, such as architects and landscape architects for one Bureau Alle Hosper and v-eld.
